September 2001. Matt and Mike Lindquist stumbled across this beauty while grouse hunting. We decided to leave it lay.
March 2001. Mike Lindquist found these whitetail winter kills near Cannon Falls, MN.
October 1997. This small moose antler was picked up by Mike Lindquist while grouse hunting near Lutsen, MN.
November 1996. Mike Lindquist found this timberwolf lower jaw bone on the Guy's Weekend up near Lutsen, MN. It was found busted in two pieces at a wolf kill site, and has been fused together with epoxy. This young omega wolf was probably on the wrong site of a territorial boundary and fell victim to inter-pack warfare. Canines can get pretty bucky when it comes to food, especially during the winter months.
October 1995. Mike Lindquist found this moose shed near Lutsen, MN.
August 1986. Here's a huge moose antler that Auz Lenz uncovered while blueberry picking just off the Gunflint Trail. She had second thoughts about lugging the big paddle back to the truck. Not only were her buckets full, she was also 8 1/2 months pregnant at the time!
